Front Seat Rail: Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Front Seat Rail - Install

   1. Install the bolts (A) with a TORX T30 bit, then install the front seat rail (B).   NOTE: Apply medium strength liquid thread lock to the mounting bolts before installation.

   2. Connect the slide motor connector (A), then install the harness clip (B). 3. Install the slide motor cover (C).

2. Driver's Seat Position Sensor (USA and Canada Models) - Install

   1. Install the driver's seat position sensor .

3. Upper Rail Inner Cover - Install

   1. Install the upper rail inner cover (A).

4. Upper Rail Outer Cover - Install

   1. Install the upper rail outer cover (A).

5. Front Seat Belt Buckle - Install

   1. Install the front seat belt buckle .

6. Front Seat Center Cover - Install

   1. Install the front seat center cover .

7. Front Seat Recline Cover - Install

   1. Install the front seat recline cover .

8. Front Seat - Install

   1. Install the front seat .

9. Driver's Seat Position Sensor (USA and Canada Models) - Operation Check

   NOTE: After replacing the driver's seat position sensor with a new one, check the driver's seat position sensor operation. 1. Do the driver's seat position sensor operation check .
