Audio-Navigation System DTC: 2703 (2019 2020 2021 2022)

DTC 2703  : Aircon Diag

NOTE: 

• Check the vehicle battery condition first .
• This navigation DTC sets when the audio-navigation unit does not communicate with the climate control unit (the B-CAN icon is red in the System Links).
• Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
• Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information .
• Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.

1. Problem verification

   -1. Clear the hard error codes .

   -2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -3. Check for hard error codes .

   Is DTC 2703 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

2. Open wire check (B-CAN_H, B-CAN_L lines)

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

   -2. Disconnect the following connectors.

   NOTE:  Eject the disc before disconnecting the audio-navigation unit to prevent damaging the CD/DVD player's load mechanism.

   Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P)

   Climate control unit connector A (28P)

   -3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	Vehicle OFF (LOCK) mode
   	Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P): disconnected
   	Climate control unit connector A (28P): disconnected
   Test point 1	Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) No. 4
   Test point 2	Climate control unit connector A (28P) No. 15

   Test point 1	Audio-navigation unit connector A (24P) No. 2
   Test point 2	Climate control unit connector A (28P) No. 17

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   Replace the climate control unit .

   NO 

   There is an open in the wire(s). Replace the affected shielded harness.
