Audio-Navigation System DTC: 1701

DTC 1701  : Rear Camera Error

NOTE: 

• Check the vehicle battery condition first .
• This navigation DTC sets when a problem is detected in the rearview camera circuit.
• Before you troubleshoot, make sure to follow the General Troubleshooting Information .
• Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system.
• Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.

1. Problem verification

   -1. Clear the hard error codes .

   -2. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode and then select the ON mode, and move the shift lever to R.

   -3. Move the shift lever to P or N.

   -4. Check for hard error codes .

   Is DTC 1701 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

2. DTC check

   -1. Check for hard error codes .

   Is DTC 2608 indicated?

   YES 

   Go to DTC 2608 troubleshooting .

   NO 

   Replace the audio-navigation unit .
