Components
The adaptive damper system consists of the following primary components:
- Adaptive damper control unit
- Adaptive damper units
- Acceleration sensors
- Suspension stroke sensors
- System warning

Adaptive Damper Unit
The adaptive damper passes the electric current that has been adjusted by the adaptive damper control unit to the coil to operate the valves. The solenoid valves open depending on the amount of electric current. Since the amount of oil changes depending on the driving condition, an optimal damping force can be generated.
Acceleration Sensor
The acceleration sensor detects acceleration value of vertical direction on each position.
Suspension Stroke Sensor
There are suspension stroke sensors located on the suspension that detects the suspension stroke amount.
