Power Supply (SWS+), GND (SWS-) Shorted Wire Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- SRS unit connector B (57P) : disconnected
- Front passenger's weight sensor (front inner side) 3P connector: disconnected
- Front passenger's weight sensor (rear inner side) 3P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.


		(Disconnected) SRS unit connector B (57P) female terminals
	IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
SWS+, SWS- shorted wire to wire inspection	OFF		There is more than 1 MΩ
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
SWS+ shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted or at least 1 MΩ
SWS+ shorted to power inspection	ON		Not shorted or 0.2 V or less
