Signal (FRBC) Circuit Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- SRS unit connector B (57P) : disconnected
- Front passenger's seat belt buckle switch 2P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.


			(Disconnected) Front passenger's seat belt buckle switch 2P connector female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	FRBC shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted, or at least 1 MΩ

Results

If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
