Driver's Side Airbag Inspection

NOTE:

Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.
Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

Test Procedure

Driver's side airbag circuit inspection

Preparation
- Driver's side airbag inflator 4P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Connect the terminals of SRS simulator lead K to the SRS inflator simulator (2 Ω connectors), then connect SRS simulator lead K to the driver's side airbag inflator 4P connector on the floor wire harness.

Perform the confirmation procedure.

Normal Conditions
- DTC B0020-13 is not indicated.

Results

If it is normal, there is a problem with the driver's side airbag.
If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
