Cable Reel Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- Driver's airbag first inflator 2P connector: disconnected
- Cable reel connector B (4P) : disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.


			(Disconnected) Driver's airbag first inflator 2P connector female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	LA1+ shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted, or at least 1 MΩ
	LA1- shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted, or at least 1 MΩ

Results

If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the cable reel.
