Troubleshoot any DTCs listed or indicated systems below first.
- CAN Gateway System [ CAN Gateway ] :
  - DTC U0029-00 ,
  - U0038-00 - Refer to:
    - DTC Troubleshooting: U0038-00 (2019 2020 2021) or
    - DTC Troubleshooting: U0038-00 (CAN Gateway) (2022 2023) ,
  - U0047-00 ,
  - U0056-00 ,
  - U0065-00 ,
  - U3000-49 .

NOTE: For more efficient troubleshooting, you may be able to eliminate some inspection items as potential failures based on the conditions of the failure and vehicle.

Do the HDS [ F-CAN Bus Connected Unit Check ].
- If the HDS indicates gauge control module is Not Available on Bus D:
- If the HDS indicates gauge control module is Detected on Bus D:
