Power Supply (+B_BACKUP), GND (SGND), Communication (LIN (METER)) Circuit Inspection

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Gauge control module connector A (32P) : disconnected
  • Audio remote-HFL switch 16P connector: disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    	+B_BACKUP circuit inspection	ON			12 V battery voltage [ circuit type 1 ]
    	SGND open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
    	LIN (METER) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
    	NOTE: Refer to the Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
    	LIN (METER) shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
  NOTE: If the result is not in the normal condition while in the power supply inspection, refer to the Power Supply Inspection , then specify the failure part.
