Signal (OFF_PTT) Shorted Wire Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- SRS unit connector A (43P) : disconnected
- Front passenger's airbag cutoff indicator 4P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.


			(Disconnected) SRS unit connector A (43P) female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	OFF_PTT shorted to power inspection	ON		Not shorted or 0.2 V or less

Results

If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
