Signal (OFF_PTT) Circuit Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- SRS unit connector A (43P) : disconnected
- Front passenger's airbag cutoff indicator 4P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.


		(Disconnected) SRS unit connector A (43P) female terminals	(Disconnected) Front passenger's airbag cutoff indicator 4P connector female terminals

OFF_PTT open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
OFF_PTT shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted or at least 1 MΩ
