Power Supply (RCA+), GND (RCA-) Shorted Wire Inspection

NOTE: Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Test Procedure

Preparation
- SRS unit connector B (57P) : disconnected
- Right side curtain airbag inflator 2P connector: disconnected

Procedure

Perform the inspection according to the following table.
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.


			(Disconnected) SRS unit connector B (57P) female terminals
		IG Mode	Courtesy of HONDA, U.S.A., INC.	Normal Conditions
	RCA+ shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted, or at least 1 MΩ
	RCA- shorted to ground inspection	OFF		Not shorted, or at least 1 MΩ

Results

If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
