Driver's Airbag Inspection

Before disconnecting the SRS related connector, do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure and wait for at least 3 minutes.

Preconditions 

• DTC B0001-2B and B0002-2B are stored with same time.

Test Procedure 

Driver's airbag circuit inspection

• Preparation
  • Driver's airbag first inflator 2P connector: disconnected
  • Driver's airbag second inflator 2P connector: disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    	LA1+, LA2+ shorted wire to wire inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MΩ
    	LA1-, LA2- shorted wire to wire inspection	OFF			There is more than 1 MΩ

Results 

• If it is normal, there is a problem with the driver's airbag.
• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the related components.
