Communication (LIN (METER)) Circuit Inspection

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Gauge control module connector A (32P) : disconnected
  • 12 volt battery sensor 2P connector: disconnected
  • Audio remote-HFL switch 16P connector: disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.
    NOTE: Refer to the Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

  			(Disconnected) 12 volt battery sensor 2P connectorfemale terminals	(Disconnected) Gauge control module connector A (32P) female terminals

  	+B_BATT_SNSR circuit inspection	OFF			12 V battery voltage [ circuit type 1 ]
  	LIN (METER) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
  	NOTE: Refer to the Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
  	LIN (METER) shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.
