Tire Pressure Sensor Location: Procedure

NOTE: 

  1. HDS DLC - Connection

    1. Connect the HDS to the data link connector (DLC) (A) located under the driver's side of the dashboard.

    2. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

    3. Make sure the HDS communicates with the vehicle and the TPMS control unit. If it does not communicate, go to the DLC circuit troubleshooting

  2. Tire Pressure Sensor ID - Memorization

    1. Using the HDS, bring up the TPMS DATA LIST, scroll down to the bottom, and locate the four tire pressure sensors ID. These are the ID assigned to each tire location.

    2. Follow HDS screen prompts under tire pressure sensor ID learn, to turn on the TPMS tool.

    3. Hold the TPMS tool (A) near the valve stem of one wheel, and activate the tire pressure sensor by following the prompts on the HDS.

    4. The TPMS tool will display the sensor data including the tire pressure sensor ID.

    5. Locate the tire pressure sensor ID in the TPMS DATA LIST with the HDS, and match it to the sensor ID on the TPMS tool. Note the sensor location.

    6. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
