DTC P154D : PCM Low Voltage at Engine Auto Restart

DTC (PGM-FI)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-3. Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3, 000 min -1 (rpm) without load (in P or N) until the radiator fan comes on, then let it idle.
-4. Test-drive the vehicle under the auto idle stop operation conditions, then stop the engine with auto idle stop.
-5. Repeat step 1-4 several times.
-6. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P154D PCM Low Voltage at Engine Auto Restart Is DTC P154D indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the 12 volt battery terminals, also check the 12 volt battery condition . If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot .
- DTC check
-1. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P0562 Charging System Low Voltage P065A ACG No Charging Malfunction P16BB Alternator B Terminal Circuit Low Voltage Is DTC P0562, P065A, and/or P16BB indicated?
YES
Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO
Do the following items:
- Test the 12 volt battery .
- Check the 12 volt battery size.
- Check for corrosion and looseness at the 12 volt battery terminals and cables.
- Check the aftermarket parts directly connected to the 12 volt battery terminals.
