DTC C0063-97 : SRS Sensor Unit Supply Voltage Abnormal

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

C0063-97 SRS Sensor Unit Supply Voltage Abnormal

DTC (VSA)

SRS system check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

-2. Check the SRS indicator.

Does the SRS indicator come on, then go off?

YES

Go to step 2.

NO

Go to SRS symptom troubleshooting .

Problem verification

-1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

-2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

-3. Test-drive the vehicle at 31 mph (50 km/h) or more for 10 seconds or more.

NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.

-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC C0063-97 indicated?

YES

Check for loose terminals and poor connections in the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the VSA modulator-control unit .

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
