DTC (VSA)

DTC check

-1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

-2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

-3. Test-drive the vehicle under these conditions:

Vehicle speed at 31 mph (50 km/h) or more for 10 seconds or more.
Change lanes a few times.

NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.

-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC C0061-62 or C0061-F0 indicated?

YES

Check for loose terminals and poor connections in the VSA modulator-control unit 46P connector. Check for any authorized service information related to the DTCs or symptoms you are troubleshooting. If they are OK, replace the SRS unit .

If any other DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting.

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
