Brake Hose: Removal

NOTICE: 

Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it may damage the paint. If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.

NOTE:  After removal, plug the ends of the hoses and the joints to prevent spilling brake fluid.

Front 

1. Vehicle - Lift

   1. Raise and support the vehicle .

2. Front Wheel - Remove

   1. Remove the front wheel .

3. Brake Hose - Remove

   1. Disconnect the brake line (A) from the brake hose (B). 2. Remove the wheel speed sensor clip (C). 3. Remove the brake hose bracket (D).

   4. Remove the banjo bolt (A), and disconnect the brake hose (B) from the caliper body. 5. Remove the brake hose.

   Rear 

4. Vehicle - Lift

   1. Raise and support the vehicle .

5. Rear Wheel - Remove

   1. Remove the rear wheel .

6. Brake Hose - Remove

   1. Disconnect the brake line (A) from the brake hose (B). 2. Remove the wheel speed sensor clip (C). 3. Remove the brake hose bracket (D).

   4. Remove the banjo bolt (A), and disconnect the brake hose (B) from the caliper body. 5. Remove the wheel speed sensor clip (C). 6. Remove the brake hose bracket (D) with the brake hose.
