Brake Hose: Installation

NOTICE: 

Do not spill brake fluid on the vehicle; it may damage the paint. If brake fluid gets on the paint, wash it off immediately with water.

NOTE: 

• Check that all parts are free of dirt and other foreign particles.
• Replace parts with new ones whenever specified to do so.

Front 

1. Brake Hose - Install

   1. Install the brake hose (A) with the brake hose mounting bolt (B). 2. Connect the brake hose to the caliper body with the banjo bolt (C) and the new sealing washers (D).

   3. Install the brake hose bracket (A). 4. Connect the brake line (B) to the brake hose (C). 5. Install the wheel speed sensor clip (D).

2. Brake System - Bleed

   1. Bleed the brake system .

3. Brake Hose and Line - Check

   NOTE: 

   • Check for leaks at hose and line joints or connections, and retighten if necessary.
   • Check the brake hoses for interference and twisting.
4. Front Wheel - Install

   1. Install the front wheel .

5. Brake Hose - Install

   1. Install the brake hose bracket (A) with the brake hose (B). 2. Connect the brake hose to the caliper body with the banjo bolt (C) and the new sealing washers (D). 3. Install the wheel speed sensor clip (E).

   4. Install the brake hose bracket (A). 5. Connect the brake line (B) to the brake hose (C). 6. Install the wheel speed sensor clip (D).

6. Brake System - Bleed

   1. Bleed the brake system .

7. Brake Hose and Line - Check

   NOTE: 

   • Check for leaks at hose and line joints or connections, and retighten if necessary.
   • Check the brake hoses for interference and twisting.
8. Rear Wheel - Install

   1. Install the rear wheel .
