Brake Booster (R20A5) (2013 2014 2015): Installation

Brake Booster - Install

1. Install the brake booster (A) with the new brake booster gasket (B).

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the brake booster mounting surfaces and the threads on the booster studs.
Be careful not to bend or damage the brake lines.

2. Install the brake booster mounting nuts (A).

3. Install the clevis pin (B).

NOTE: Apply multipurpose grease to the clevis pin in the brake pedal.

4. Install the lock pin (C).

5. Install the brake lines (A) to the brake line clamp (B).

6. Connect the brake booster vacuum hose (C) to the brake booster (D).

7. Install the harness bracket (A).

8. Install the wire harness connectors (B).

9. Install the clip (C).

10. Connect the wire harness connector (D).

11. Connect the wire harness connector (E) by pulling up the lever (F), and confirm the connector is fully seated.

12. Install the air cleaner bracket (A).

PCM - Install

1. Install the PCM .
Master Cylinder - Install

1. Install the master cylinder .
Air Cleaner - Install

1. Install the air cleaner .
Brake Pedal Height and Free Play - Check

1. Check the brake pedal height and free play .
