Audio-navigation unit does not exit anti-theft mode
NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first .
- Check for F-CAN and B-CAN DTCs and resolve them before troubleshooting.
- Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.
- Problem verification
-1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
-2. Press and hold the VOLUME/POWER knob more than 2 seconds to release the anti-theft mode.
Is the anti-theft mode released?
YES
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
NO
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
- Open wire check (B CAN-H line, B CAN-L line)
-1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
-2. Disconnect the following connectors.
Audio-navigation unit connector E (36P) Gauge control module 32P connector -3. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.
Test condition OFF mode Audio-navigation unit connector E (36P): disconnected Gauge control module 32P connector: disconnected Test circuit B CAN-H Test point 1 Audio-navigation unit connector E (36P) No. 7 (PNK) Test point 2 Gauge control module 32P connector No. 7 (PNK) Test circuit B CAN-L Test point 1 Audio-navigation unit connector E (36P) No. 27 (BLU) Test point 2 Gauge control module 32P connector No. 8 (BLU) Is there continuity?
YES
Replace the audio-navigation unit .
NO
Repair an open in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the gauge control module.
