Audio System - Audio power switch will not turn off(Without Navigation) (2013 2014 2015)

Audio power switch will not turn off 

NOTE:  Check the connectors for poor connections or loose terminals.

1. Problem verification

   -1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

   -2. Press the VOLUME/POWER knob off to see if the audio unit turns off.

   Does the audio unit turn off?

   YES 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.

   NO 

   The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.

2. Determine possible failure area (ACC line, others)

   -1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

   Does the audio unit turn off?

   YES 

   Go to step 4.

   NO 

   Go to step 3.

3. Shorted wire check (ACC line to power)

   -1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	OFF mode
   Test circuit	ACC
   Test point 1	Audio unit connector A (24P) No. 24 (PUR)

   Test point 2

   Body ground

   Is there battery voltage?

   YES 

   Repair a short to power in the wire between the No. B19 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-dash fuse/relay box and the audio unit.

   NO 

   Replace the audio unit .

4. Audio unit check

   -1. Substitute a known-good audio switch panel .

   -2. Reconnect all the connectors, and recheck.

   Does the symptom go away?

   YES 

   Replace the original audio switch panel.

   NO 

   Replace the audio unit .
