Audio System - AM/FM radio display is blank or no station information is displayed(With Navigation) (2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022)
AM/FM radio display is blank or no station information is displayed
NOTE: Check the vehicle battery condition first .
- Problem verification
-1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.
-2. Turn on the audio system, and select AM or FM.
Does the AM or the FM radio station information display blankΩ
YES
The failure is duplicated, go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the AM or FM sound is not heard, go to Poor or no sound with AM/FM radio troubleshooting .
- System Diagnostic Mode check
-1. Go into the System Diagnostic Mode, and use the System Links to check the Remote Tuner icon status .
Is the Remote Tuner icon green?
YES
Go to step 3.
NO
Go to Navigation DTC 2605 (H/U Diag: Connect) troubleshooting .
- Tuner unit check (substitution)
-1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.
-2. Substitute a known-good tuner unit , and recheck.
-3. Reconnect all the connectors, and recheck.
Does the symptom go away?
YES
Replace the original tuner unit.
NO
