DTC C1100-53  : Electric Parking Brake System in Maintenance Mode

DTC (Electric parking brake)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   -2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

   -3. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then the ON mode.

   -4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC C1100-53 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Select the ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE from the BRAKE SYSTEM menu with the HDS, then enter the BRAKE PAD MAINTENANCE MODE from the ADJUSTMENT, and follow the screen prompts. Make sure THIS FUNCTION PROCEDURE IS FINISHED on the screen, then press the enter button.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting .
