NOTE: Before doing this troubleshooting procedure, find out if the vehicle was in a collision. If so, verify that all the required components were replaced with new components of the correct part number and were properly installed .
• Before doing this troubleshooting procedure, review SRS Precautions and Procedures and General Troubleshooting Information .
• If DTC U3000-49 is stored, troubleshoot DTC U3000-49 before doing this troubleshooting procedure.

DTC (SRS)

1. Problem verification

   -1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   - 2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.

   - 3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   B00C0-4A Different supplier ID/function ID of the front passenger's weight sensor (front inner side)
   B00C1-4A Different supplier ID/function ID of the front passenger's weight sensor (front outer side)
   B00C2-4A Different supplier ID/function ID of the front passenger's weight sensor (rear inner side)
   B00C3-4A Different supplier ID/function ID of the front passenger's weight sensor (rear outer side)

   Is DTC B00C0-4A, B00C1-4A, B00C2-4A, or B00C3-4A indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Faulty front passenger's weight sensor. Replace the front passenger's weight sensors as an assembly - Refer to: Front Passenger's Weight Sensor Removal and Installation (2017 2018 2019 2020), or Front Passenger's Weight Sensor Removal and Installation . If the DTC does not clear, replace the SRS unit - Refer to: SRS Unit Removal and Installation, or SRS Unit Removal and Installation (2017 2018 2019 2020) .

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Go to Troubleshooting Intermittent Failures. If another DTC is indicated, troubleshoot the DTC.
