DTC B2A00-F8 : ACC Brake Control Temporarily Prohibited
NOTE:
- This DTC is stored when the VSA temporarily prohibits use of the ACC automatic brake because of excessive operation of the automatic brake.
- If DTC U0122-00 is stored at the same time as DTC B2A00-F8, troubleshoot DTC U0122-00 first, then recheck for DTC B2A00-F8.
- Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information .

DTC (IDAS)
- VSA system DTCs check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
-2. Check for VSA system DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC Freeze Frame Are any DTCs indicated?
YES
Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .
NO
Go to step 2.
- Problem verification
-1. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
-2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-3. Test-drive the vehicle at 25 mph (40 km/h) or more with the ACC activated.
NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.
-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC Freeze Frame B2A00-F8 ACC Brake Control Temporarily Prohibited Is DTC B2A00-F8 indicated?
YES
The failure is duplicated. Go to step 3.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting . If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- Multipurpose camera unit check (update)
-1. Update the multipurpose camera unit if it does not have the latest software .
-2. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
-3. Test-drive the vehicle at 25 mph (40 km/h) or more with the ACC activated.
NOTE: Drive the vehicle on the road, not on a lift.
-4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC Freeze Frame B2A00-F8 ACC Brake Control Temporarily Prohibited Is DTC B2A00-F8 indicated?
YES
Check for loose terminals in the multipurpose camera unit 20P connector. If the multipurpose camera unit was updated and the symptom/indication is still present, replace the multipurpose camera unit .
NO
Troubleshooting is complete. If any other DTCs are indicated, go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
