DTC U3000-51  : E-Pretensioner Unit Programming Error

NOTE: 

• This DTC is indicated when the E-pretensioner unit update is not completed properly.
• Never press the engine start/stop button, while updating the E-pretensioner unit. If you press the engine start/stop button, before you complete the E-pretensioner unit update procedure, the E-pretensioner unit can be damaged. If there is a problem with the update, keep the vehicle in ON mode.
• Before doing this troubleshooting procedure, review General Troubleshooting Information .
• When you replace the E-pretensioner unit, check the HDS and replace the indicated side of E-pretensioner unit on the HDS.

DTC (E-pretensioner)

1. Problem verification (update)

   - 1. Do the E-pretensioner unit update procedure.

   - 2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   Is DTC U3000-51 indicated?

   YES 

   Replace the E-pretensioner unit .

   NO 

   Update is complete.
