DTC U1380-00  : Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit DTC U1381-00  : Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit

NOTE: 

• Before doing this troubleshooting procedure, review General Troubleshooting Information .
• When you replace the E-pretensioner unit, check the HDS and replace the indicated side of E-pretensioner unit on the HDS.

DTC (E-pretensioner)

1. Problem verification

   - 1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   - 2. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   U1381-00 Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit

   DTC Description	DTC
   U1380-00 Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit

   DTC Description	DTC
   U1381-00 Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit

   Is DTC U1380-00 or 1381-00 indicated?

   YES 

   The failure is duplicated. Go to step 2.

   NO 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting.

2. E-pretensioner unit check (update)

   - 1. Do the E-pretensioner unit update procedure.

   - 2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

   - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   U1380-00 Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit
   U1381-00 Different Software Version in the Left and Right E-Pretensioner Unit

   Is DTC U1380-00 or 1381-00 indicated?

   YES 

   Replace the E-pretensioner unit .

   NO 

   Update is complete.
