Basic Control/Function
The parking and back-up sensor control unit receives the parking brake signal and the back-up light signal via the B-CAN system, and detects whether the vehicle is moving forward, backwards or is stopped.

In addition, the parking and back-up sensor control unit receives the vehicle speed signal via the B-CAN system, and then performs the control for low-speed operation.
Sounding Pattern
Intermittent/continuous alarm sounding is performed by obstacle detection indication requests and alarm sounding requests from the parking sensor system, according to the distance and the display of the obstacle detection location. A magnified warning display is generated in case of a failure of the parking sensor system.
