Front Seat Belt: Installation

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations and the precautions and procedures before doing repairs or service.

1. Front Seat Belt Assembly - Install

   1. Install the seat belt assembly (A). 2. Connect the seat belt tensioner connector (B).

2. Front Seat Belt Upper Anchor Bolt - Install

   1. Assemble the bushing (A), the collar (B), and the toothed lock washer (C) on the upper anchor bolt (D) as shown. NOTE: Tighten the bolt by hand first, then tighten to the specified torque.

   2. Install the upper anchor bolt (A).

3. B-Pillar Upper/Lower Trim - Remove

   1. Install the B-pillar upper/lower trim .

4. Front Seat Belt Lower Anchor Bolt - Install

   1. Install the lower anchor bolt (A).

   2. Install the anchor cover (A).

5. Battery Terminal - Connect

   1. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure .
