Exterior Lights - Control/Function (2013 2014 2015)
Exterior Light Function
The exterior lights are energized by the MICU based on input signals of the engine start/stop switch, the combination light switch and automatic lighting sensor.
Headlights Auto-OFF Function
Exterior lights automatic turn OFF energizes the exterior lights to be turned OFF automatically when the vehicle is in the OFF (LOCK) mode, driver's door is opened and closed during the exterior lights are turned OFF. Time for turning OFF the exterior lights can be set by the customizing function.
Fog Light Function
Operation of fog light. The MICU energizes the fog light relay based on input signals from the engine start/stop switch and the combination light switch.
Turn Signal/Hazard Light Function
In turn signal/hazard light operation, flash of each turn signal light is controlled by MICU through input signals of the engine start/stop switch, the turn signal switch and the hazard warning switch. Activating the hazard flasher over-rides the individual turn signals, and will flash all turn lights regardless of combination light switch input.
Automatic Lighting ON/OFF Control
The parking lights, taillight, side marker lights, license plate lights and headlights are turned on (from off) after a few seconds of delay time when the output (voltage) from the automatic lighting sensor reaches the "Light ON Luminance" range (voltage).The parking lights, taillight, side marker lights, license plate lights and headlights are turned off (from on) after several seconds of delay time when the output (voltage) from the automatic lighting sensor reaches the "Light OFF Luminance" range (voltage).
