Exterior Lights - LED headlight does not come on (2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022)

LED headlight does not come on 

1. DTC check 1

   -1. Connect the HDS to the data link connector (DLC) .

   -2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	DTC
   B1081 Left Side LED Headlight Malfunction
   B1082 Left Side LED Headlight Circuit Malfunction
   B1083 Right Side LED Headlight Malfunction
   B1084 Right Side LED Headlight Circuit Malfunction

   Are DTCs B1081, B1082, B1083, and/or B1084 indicated?

   YES 

   Do the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

   NO 

   Go to step 2.

2. Combination light switch HEADLIGHT position check

   -1. Turn the combination light switch ON.

   -2. Check the parameter(s) below with the HDS.

   Is data list values correct?

   YES 

   Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.

   NO 

   Go to step 3.

3. Combination light switch check

   -1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

   -2. Do the combination light switch test .

   Is the switch OK?

   YES 

   Go to step 4.

   NO 

   Replace the combination light switch .

4. Open wire check (H/L ON SW line) 1

   -1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	OFF modeCombination light switch 12P connector: disconnected
   Test circuit	H/L ON SW
   Test point 1	Combination light switch 12P connector No. 7 (PNK)
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there battery voltage?

   YES 

   Go to step 5.

   NO 

   Go to step 6.

5. Open wire check (COMBI SW GND (LT) line)

   -1. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	OFF modeCombination light switch 12P connector: disconnected
   Test circuit	COMBI SW GND (LT)
   Test point 1	Combination light switch 12P connector No. 6 (BLK)
   Test point 2	Body ground

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   The COMBI SW GND (LT) wire is OK. Faulty combination light switch; do the combination light switch test .

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.

6. Open wire check (H/L ON SW line) 2

   -1. Disconnect the following connector.

   Under-dash fuse/relay box connector T (20P)

   -2. Check for continuity between test points 1 and 2.

   Test condition	OFF mode Combination light switch 12P connector: disconnected Under-dash fuse/relay box connector T (20P): disconnected
   Test circuit	H/L ON SW
   Test point 1	Under-dash fuse/relay box connector T (20P) No. 2 (PNK)
   Test point 2	Combination light switch 12P connector No. 7 (PNK)

   Is there continuity?

   YES 

   The H/L ON SW wire is OK. Faulty MICU; replace the under-dash fuse/relay box .

   NO 

   Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.
