Wipers/Washers System Description - Overview (2014 2015)
The intelligent controlled wiper system uses a control reversal motor with a built-in control unit as the windshield wiper motor, controlling the position and wiping speed of the wiper blade.
The system is also equipped with park position control, obstacle clearance control, and thermal protection control. With this system, the wiper blade assembly stops in the park position when the vehicle in the OFF (LOCK) mode.
The wiper blade assembly cannot be replaced while the wiper blade assembly is stopped in the park position. To replace the wiper blade assembly, it must be stopped in the service position.
