Rear Bumper Lower Trim Replacement

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to scratch the rear bumper.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

Remove the rear bumper (see REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - SPORT WAGON ).
Remove the screws, and release the hooks (A) (five places) and the hooks (B) (four places), then remove the rear bumper lower trim (C).

If necessary, remove the bolts, then remove the rear bumper lower extension (A) from the rear bumper lower trim (B).

Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.
