Center Console Ventilation Valve Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the console.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

Open the console armrest.
Pry upon the upper edge of the center console ventilation valve assembly (A) to release the upper hook (B) with the appropriate trim tool. Release the lower hook (C), then remove the valve assembly.

Pry up on the edge of the center console ventilation valve (A) to release the hooks (B) with the appropriate trim tool, then separate the valve and the valve base (C).

Install the valve in the reverse order of removal, and push the hooks into place securely.
