DTC B1575: Auto Light Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for one second.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1575 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect the automatic lighting sensor/sunlight sensor 5P connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Measure the voltage between body ground and automatic lighting sensor/sunlight sensor 5P connector terminal No. 1.
AUTOMATIC LIGHTING SENSOR/SUNLIGHT SENSOR 5P CONNECTOR

Is there about 5 V?
YES -Replace the automatic lighting sensor/sunlight sensor (see SUNLIGHT SENSOR REPLACEMENT ).
NO -Go to step 9.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (28P).
- Check for continuity between passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box connector D (28P) terminal No. 9 and automatic lighting sensor/sunlight sensor 5P connector terminal No. 1.

Is there continuity?
YES -Faulty passenger's MICU; replace passenger's under-dash fuse/relay box (see INSTALLATION ).
NO -Repair an open or high resistance in the wire.
