Turn Signal/Hazard Warning Lights (MICU) Input Test (2014 2015)

NOTE:

1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.

2. Disconnect driver's under-dash fuse/relay box connectors E, F, G, H, K, M, P, and Q

NOTE:  All connector views are shown from the wire side of the female terminals.

3. Inspect the connectors and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact:

4. With the connectors still disconnected, do the following input tests:

Cavity Wire Test condition Test: Desired result Possible cause if desired results not obtained
F11 RED Connect terminals F11 and F8 with a jumper wire Check the turn signal lights operation: The left front turn signal light should come on.
  • Blown bulb
  • Poor ground (G301) or an open in the ground wire
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
F12 BLU Connect terminals F12 and F8 with a jumper wire Check the turn signal lights operation: The right front turn signal light should come on.
  • Blown bulb
  • Poor ground (G201) or an open in the ground wire
  • An open or high resistance in the wire
