Auto High-Beam (High-Beam Support System) Description - Overview (2018 2019 2020)
The auto high-beam system operates to switch high beam and low beam automatically depending on road conditions, oncoming vehicles, and vehicles running ahead, using the C-MOS* camera mounted in the rearview mirror.
*C-MOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor): Electrical charge storage in each pixel is converted to voltage and then amplified for the output.
