DTC P062C : Internal Module Vehicle Speed Performance

- This code is caused by an electrical circuit problem and cannot be caused by a mechanical problem in the transmission.
- The causes shown may not be a complete list of all potential problems, and it is possible that there may be other causes.
- Drive the vehicle in this manner only if the traffic regulations and ambient conditions allow.

DTC (A/T)
- Problem verification
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- 3. Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes under the same conditions as those indicated by the freeze data.
- 4. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame P062C Internal Module Vehicle Speed Performance Is DTC P062C indicated?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections and loose terminals at the TCM. If the freeze data/on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the freeze data/on-board snapshot.
- TCM update
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- 3. Update the TCM.
- 4. Test-drive the vehicle for several minutes under the same conditions as those indicated by the freeze data.
- 5. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

YES
The failure is duplicated. substitute a known-good TCM , then recheck. If this DTC goes away and the TCM was updated, troubleshooting is complete. If this DTC goes away and the TCM was substituted, replace the original TCM or replace the sensor unit .
NO
TCM it does not have the latest software.
