DTC P15C5 : Brake Booster Pressure Sensor A Characteristic Low Voltage

DTC (EVPS)
- PGM-FI system DTC check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs in the PGM-FI system with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC Freeze Frame DTC (PGM-FI)
Are any DTCs indicated?
YES
Go to indicated DTC's troubleshooting.
NO
Go to step 2.
- Brake booster pressure sensor check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Substitute a known-good brake booster pressure sensor.
- 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 4. Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- 5. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode, then to the ON mode.
- 6. Check for DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description DTC Freeze Frame P15C5 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor A Characteristic Low Voltage Is DTC P15C5 indicated?
YES
Update the PCM if it does not have the latest software, or substitute a known-good PCM - Refer to: PCM Removal and Installation (2014 2015), or PCM Removal and Installation (2016) , then recheck. If the symptom/indication goes away with a known-good PCM, replace the original PCM - Refer to: PCM Removal and Installation (2014 2015), or PCM Removal and Installation (2016) .
