DTC P0441

DTC P0441  : EVAP System Purge Flow Malfunction

NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, review the general troubleshooting information - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems, or How to Troubleshoot the A/T System (2014 2015), or How to Troubleshoot the Brake Booster Pressure Monitoring System (2016 2017 2018 2019 2020), or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems(With Auto Idle Stop System) (2016) .
• If DTC P0441 is indicated alone, do the troubleshooting for DTC P0496 and P0497 using the freeze data for P0441.
• If DTC P0497 and P0441 are stored at the same time, check for a poor connection, a blockage, or damage at the EVAP canister purge line between the EVAP canister purge valve and the EVAP canister. Also check for a stuck closed EVAP canister purge valve.
• If any of the DTCs listed below are indicated at the same time as DTC P0441, troubleshoot those DTCs first, then recheck for P0441.
• • P0496, P0497: EVAP system purge flow

DTC (PGM-FI)

1. DTC check

   -1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.

   - 2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

   DTC Description	Confirmed DTC	Pending DTC	Freeze Frame
   P0496 EVAP System High Purge Flow Detected
   P0497 EVAP System Low Purge Flow Detected
   P0441 EVAP System Purge Flow Malfunction

   Are DTC P0496 or P0497 and P0441 indicated at the same time?

   YES 

   Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting.

   NO 

   Go to the troubleshooting for DTC P0496  and DTC P0497 .
