DTC P0341 : CMP Sensor and CKP Sensor Incorrect Phase Detected

- Camshaft timing check
-1. Check the camshaft timing.
Is the camshaft timing OK?
YES
Go to step 2.
NO
Reset the camshaft timing.
- Timing belt check
-1. Check the timing belt.
Is the timing belt damaged or frayed?
YES
Replace the timing belt and the timing belt auto-tensioner .
NO
Go to step 3.
- PGM-FI system check (DTC check)
-1. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
- 2. Reset the PCM with the HDS.
- 3. Do the CKP pattern clear procedure.
- 4. Do the PCM idle learn procedure.
- 5. Do the CKP pattern learn procedure.
- 6. Start the engine, and let it idle.
- 7. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.
DTC Description Confirmed DTC Pending DTC P0341 CMP Sensor and CKP Sensor Incorrect Phase Detected Is DTC P0341 indicated?
YES
Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the CMP sensor, CKP sensor, and the PCM, then go to step 1.
NO
Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. If the on-board snapshot of this DTC is recorded, try to reproduce the failure under the same conditions with the on-board snapshot - Refer to: How to Troubleshoot the A/T System (2014 2015), or How to Troubleshoot the Brake Booster Pressure Monitoring System (2016 2017 2018 2019 2020), or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems(With Auto Idle Stop System) (2016), or How to Troubleshoot the Fuel and Emissions Systems .
