- F-CAN A circuit resistance check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.
- 3. Disconnect the following connector.
PCM connector A (51P) - 4. Measure the resistance between test points 1 and 2.

Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the gauge control module .
NO
Reconnect the gauge control module 32P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 23.
- TCM check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
TCM 58P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
NO
Reconnect the TCM 58P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 24.
- SBW shifter control module check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
SBW shifter control module 20P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the SBW shifter control module .
NO
Reconnect the SBW shifter control module 20P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 25.
- VSA modulator-control unit check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the VSA modulator-control unit .
NO
Reconnect the VSA modulator-control unit 38P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 26.
- Steering angle sensor check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
Steering angle sensor 4P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the steering angle sensor .
NO
Reconnect the steering angle sensor 4P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 27.
- ANC/active sound control unit check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the ANC/active sound control unit .
NO
Reconnect the ANC/active sound control unit 20P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 28.
- EPS control unit check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
EPS control unit connector A (11P) - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the EPS control unit .
NO
Reconnect EPS control unit connector A (11P) with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 29.
- SRS unit check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Do the 12 volt battery terminal disconnection procedure, and wait for at least 3 minutes.
- 3. Disconnect the following connector.
SRS unit connector A (39P) - 4. Do the 12 volt battery terminal reconnection procedure.
- 5. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the SRS unit - Refer to: SRS Unit Removal and Installation (2017 2018 2019 2020), .
NO
Reconnect SRS unit connector A (39P) with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 30.
- Electric parking brake control unit check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
Electric parking brake control unit 30P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the electric parking brake control unit .
NO
Reconnect electric parking brake control unit 30P connector with vehicle in OFF (LOCK) mode, then go to step 31.
- Engine mount control unit check
-1. Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
- 2. Disconnect the following connector.
Engine mount control unit 16P connector - 3. Turn the vehicle to the ON mode, and read the HDS.
Does the HDS identify the vehicle?
YES
Replace the engine mount control unit .
NO
