A/C Condenser Fan Circuit Troubleshooting (Short)

NOTE: A short in the A/C condenser fan circuit causes the fan to run constantly whenever the ignition switch is ON (II).

Disconnect the A/C condenser fan motor 2P connector from the RFC unit.
Check for continuity between A/C condenser fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.

Is there continuity?

YES -Repair a short in the wire between A/C condenser fan motor 2P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.

NO -Replace the RFC unit (see A/C CONDENSER FAN CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING (SHORT) ).
