Multi-information Switch Test/Replacement

Remove the driver's airbag assembly DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
Disconnect the cable reel subharness 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.

Measure the resistance between cable reel subharness 20P connector terminals No. 14 and No. 15 in each multi-information switch position according to the table.

Position	Resistance
Previous (↑)	About 33 Ω
SEL/RESET	About 1, 043 Ω
Next (↓)	About 363 Ω

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the cable reel subharness.

NOTE: If the switch is OK, but there is a problem with switch function, check the cable reel.
