Basic distance function

The BSI radar unit radiates 24 GHz radar waves within the range of 9.84 ft (3 m) toward the rear and 9.84 ft (3 m) on both sides horizontally and 20 degrees on both sides toward the rear. It receives the reflected radar waves when another vehicle enters in this alert area.
