BSI Control Unit Removal/Installation
- Remove the left rear side trim panel (see
TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - REAR SIDE AREA
).
- With active damper system: Remove the active damper control unit (see
ACTIVE DAMPER CONTROL UNIT REPLACEMENT
).
- Remove the bolts from the rear side trim panel support bracket (A) that holds the BSI control unit (B).

- Disconnect the 16P connector from the BSI control unit.
- Remove the BSI control unit from the rear side trim panel support bracket.
- Install the unit in the reverse order of removal.
