Driver's Dashboard Trim Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

* Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program, call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the dashboard or related parts
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components

Open the front door, pry out the rear edge of the driver's dashboard side panel (A) with the appropriate trim tool to detach the clips and the hooks (B), and remove the panel

Detach the clips Disconnect the dash lights brightness controller connector (A), then remove the driver's dashboard trim (B)

Install the driver's dashboard trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely
